DeepVision: Detecting COVID when entering indoor facilities

Ooze (5) 3

Necessity is the Mother of Invention

Compliance with State and Federal regulations during the pandemic meant that facilities have to implement time consuming and exhaustive measures in place to prevent spread of infection.

We were among the first companies in the world that built a full solutions to automate the process of checking employees and guests entering indoor facilities for any signs of the infection and thus preventing unintentional dissemination of the virus.  Placed at the entry way of indoor facilities, the COVID assessment Kiosks did the following

  • Detected a person forehead and then remotely measured the skin temperature, with a margin of error of 0.25 degrees.
  • Asked the person the 4 questions developed by the CDC and the person responded with gestures to avoid touching the machine.
  • Confirmed that the person received hand sanitizer, provided by the machine through the use of cameras and motion sensors.
  • Then welcomed the person to enter the facility with voice and traffic light signal or if temperature was detected, paged the manager on site to further evaluate.
The technology was widely adopted all over the world.
